Three-high pass trek is one of the best adventure and most popular trekking destinations in Nepal, located in the eastern Nepal, in Everest region. This is one of the most challenging arduous trekking trips in Khumbu. The challenging adventure in the sense that you will cross three-mountain passes namely Renjo La Pass (5,388 m), Cho La Pass (5,880 m), and the Kongma La Pass (5,535 m). You will also climb up to Gokyo Ri peak (5,483 m) and Kala Pattar (5,545 m), while you cross the mountain pass and climb up to the peak, you will have superb mountain vistas including of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Chukkung Ri Peak (5,550 m), a lesser known summit, also the Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Makalu (8,463 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m), Mt. Pumori (7,161 m), Mt. Nuptse (7,855 m), Mt. Amadablam (6,850 m), Mt. Thamserku (6,723 m), Mt. Kantega (6,685 m) to name a few. The trek winds around the high altitude areas and you will mostly revolve around the rocky and sloppy hills filled with snow, glacier and glacial lakeside, mountain valleys and more, and thus you are likely to face high altitude sickness, therefore, you have to be prepared to physically fit and mentally be prepared for coping up any sort of possible challenges you may face, during the trip.

Everest three high passes trekking begins with a short flight form Kathmandu to Lukla and follows the classic trail along Phakding, and continue alongside of Dudh Kosi valley and then enter into Namche Bazaar, where you will stop a day for acclimatization. Next day you will continue trekking to Thame and then remote Nangpa valley. Then you will head up to the first of three passes, the Renjo La pass, from where you will have stunning views of the mountain vista and continue trek down to Gokyo lakeside and then climb up to Gokyo Ri peak and then continue over the Ngozumpa glacier and then cross Cho La pass. After crossing Cho La pass, you will follow the Everest trail and continue up to Kala Pattar then retrace down to Lobuje village and head on to the east to the Kongma La pass and then then you will climb up to Chukung Ri (5,550 m) and enter in to Chukung village, the lovely mountain valley, from where you will have amazing mountain vistas and then you will retrace back down to Tyangboche, Namche Bazaar and finally get back to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu.
