Ghorepani trek is extremely popular and short trekking destinations located in the western part of Nepal, in the Annapurna region. The literal translation of the term 'Ghorepani, is 'horse water', until recently this has been a welcome watering stop for the mule caravans, the goods that are carried between Pokhara and Jomsom. The best view point 'Poon Hill' station is based in Ghorepani, from where you will have amazing sunrise and sunset views with the backdrop of the majestic Himalayas and mesmerizing mountains vistas, namely of Mt. Annapurna I (8,091 m), Annapurna II (7,937 m) , Mt. Annapurna III (7,555 m), Mt. Annapurna IV (7,525 m), Mt. Annapurna south (7,219 m), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 m),Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m), Mt. Nilgiri (7,041 m), Mt. Fishtail also called Machhapuchhare (6,998 m) , Mt. Hiunchuli (6,441 m), Mt. Lamjung Himal (6,986 m) to name a few.

The view point provides such a dazzling scenes and sceneries of the mountains vista which no doubt just like a magic. Ghorepani trek is obviously the paradise spectacular mountains scenery and also equally for exploring other natural wonders like incredible rocky and sloppy hills, dense rhododendron forest full of flora and fauna, the charming settlement of Gurung and Magar ethnic groups. Therefore, you will also be able to explore the unique blend of culture, rituals, and lifestyles of them and enjoy with the local dishes and delicacies and discover yet unexplored features of the area. It is a low altitude trekking, the maximum height you will reach at 3,210 m height, therefore it is one of the easiest trekking trip in comparison with other trekking destinations in Nepal.

Gorepani trek begins with a short flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara and then the trail continues through terraced foothills along the Dhampus Ridge and passes through Landrung and Chomrong, the famous settlement of Gurng ethnic groups and finally reach at Tatopani (natural hot spring) at Ghorepani, and have a short hike to Poon Hill for having the splendid sunrise view above the Himalayas and have incredible scenes of mountains. Subsequently you will continue trekking to Ghasa- Tukuche Marpha village (one of the best apple garden in Nepal) and reach to Muktinath, where you will explore the Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage and then finally return back to Jomsom then you will fly back to Pokhara and subsequently to Kathmandu.
