Yala peak (5,732 m.) is one another popular climbing peak in Nepal, located to the north of Kathmandu valley in the Langtang region. Yala peak is regarded to be comparably the easiest peaks in Nepal, therefore, requires no prior experience of climbing, however since the peak is located at the high altitude area, you have be physically fit and mentally prepared in case any sort of challenges you may face during the trip to the high altitude. Yala peak is border of Nepal-Tibet. The park is the home of red panda, Himalayan black bear, snow leopard, wild dog, Ghoral, and more than 250 species of endangered birds and various flora and fauna. Likewise, you also be able to extend your trip to the sacred alpine Gosainkunda lake, located at 4,380 m height, and no doubt the charming settlement of various ethnic groups including Sherpa, Hyolmo, Bhotiya (Tibetan origin people), Tamang, whose religious practices, languages and dress are much more similar to those of Tibet. Similarly, you will also have an opportunity to explore the Buddhist monastery--Kyanjin Gompa, pass through terraced farmland, steamy forest of pine, bamboo, and rhododendron, yak pastures, which really offers you dazzling views of incredible landscapes stretching to the Tibetan border.

Yala peak climbing begins with a short drive from Kathmandu Dhunche and then continue trekking to Syabrubensi and the trail leads you through the settlement of Tamang ethnic groups to Langtang valley, Kyangching Gompa, Tserko Ri and then finally reach at Yala peak base camp and rest one day for acclimatization, once you are ready, you will climb the peak, after making a successful ascend and capturing scenic views of range of mountains lying in the region, you will descend down to Ghora Tabel, Syabru, Sing Gompa and then finally at Helambu and then drive back to Kathmandu.
