Machapuchhare Model Trek is recently explored trek in the western Nepal. This trekking was explored by the team of Trekking Agent Agencies Association of Nepal (its western regional chapter). This is one of the alternative routes to Annapurna region trekking. This newly explored trek offers you stunning mountain vistas namely of Mt. Machhapurchhre or fishtail (6,977 m), as you will navigate around the Machhapuchre Himalayan range. This is one of the short trek suits for both novice and well experienced trekkers looking for breathtaking Himalayan sceneries, incredible landscapes and more. This model trekking is developed into 2-fold models namely camping as well as village tourism with the home stay facilities en-route to seven different villages you pass though in Kaski districts namely-- Lachok, Ghachok, Machhapuchhre, Ribhan, Lwang, Ghalel, Sardikhola and Dhital.

Machapuchhare model trek, the name itself is self-explanatory that this is a model trek where you will be able to have amazing views of mountains, explore around the thatched houses, picturesque villages, stroll around the serene and tranquil environment. During the trekking, you will no doubt explore the lifestyles, distinct culture and rituals of various indigenous peoples namely of Gurung, Tamang, Thakali, Bahun, Chhetris and so on, and amazed with their traditional performances. Similarly, you will pass through steamy and lush forest full of rhododendron and pines, stroll around caves, take snaps of waterfalls, and you will equally spot diverse flora and fauna including the wild animals and endangered birds and also the mesmerizing sunrise and sunset views with the backdrop of Mt. Machhapuchre. You will equally have amazing views of Annapurna Himalayan range, spend time in serenity of lush green hills and jungles full of various species of flowers including rhododendron and stroll around the incredible landscapes, and mesmerized with the warm greetings of ever smiling ethnic groups living alongside of this newly explored trekking route.

Machapuchhare Model Trek begins with a short drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, a picturesque valley explore all around mesmerizing spots in Pokhara, Begnas cave, Davis falls and have short drive to Sarangkot, the best view point hillside from where you will have amazing views of Annapurna including Machhapuchre Himalayan range and if you wish to have adventure, you also can have paragliding, go for boating and then have a short drive to Lachok and then continue trekking to Ribhan, Odane hill, Chilchimle Kharka, Khumai, korchung, Kharka and then continue trekking to Gibli, Tarkra, Imu, Kwiwan, Lwanghalel and finally get back to Mardi Pool and drive back to Pokhara, subsequently to Kathmandu.
