The ultimate goal of the Everest Trek is to reach at least to the lap of the world's highest peaks and pass through the high mountains passes namely Kala Pathar, (5,545 m), Gokyo Ri pass also known as Gokyo Peak (5,357 m), Cho La Pass (5,420 m) and sneak the world's highest mountains--the Mt. Everest. In addition, Everest trek is protected by Sagarmatha National Park, one of the largest national parks in Nepal established in 1976, covering an area of 1148 sq. km, has been listed under the lists of world natural heritage sites by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). This park is home of flora and fauna including a number of endanger animals, birds etc. Similarly, you also have an opportunity to explore the rituals, culture, lifestyles of of legendary Sherpa, and you also will explore Gompa (Buddhist monastery), Mane Chorten and many more. The Everest trek ranges from low altitude trek to the high altitude trek reaching to the Everest base camp and goes through well-developed trekking trail, where there are available ample of facilities for rest, have meal and spend time. Therefore, this trek best suits to all sorts of travelers, including novice trekkers to the high experienced trekkers. Everest Trek can be done either by air or on foot. The public buses leaves for Jiri or Bhandar from Kathmandu and then you will walk to Lukla. By air, you fly to Lukla, which is served by many airlines from Kathmandu and then continue trekking to Phakding, Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, Gorekshep and finally reach at Everest base camp and after exploring all around, you retrace back to Kala Pathar, continue trekking to Pangboche, Namche Bazar and finally get back to Lukla, subsequently return back to Kathmandu.
